R&R Design Services (Remodeling & Residential Design Services), is a full-service design company, specializing in the design of residential and light commercial projects.  R&R also offers a wide range of construction consulting services, including standardized budgeting, design-build methods and processes, and sales support.  The Company has HUD-approved 203(k) Consultants on staff to support the 203(k) program (HUD 203(k) Consultant ID #P1503).

Helping Homeowners, Buyers, and Sellers Visualize

As most homeowners, buyers, sellers, realtors, contractors, and investors will agree, most people are not able to visualize how a home (or apartment or office) will look after it’s “fixed up” (e.g., staged, remodeled, rehabbed, etc.).  R&R’s powerful CAD system enables the generation of high-quality, detailed, 3D color renderings of a home, apartment, and/or office in its “post-fix-up” condition, which provides a high “comfort level” for homeowners, buyers, sellers, and contractors, and minimizes end-of-project surprises and delays.

It is important to note that R&R’s 3D renderings are NOT just “artist’s conceptions” of a project or a project’s design.  Rather, R&R’s renderings are based on an accurate 3D model of the actual building, to ensure that the 3D renderings can actually be built (i.e., the structure can support the design as shown).  This ability to present accurate visualizations ensures that all parties “are on the same page” when it comes to how a house will look, as well as how much it will cost.

Although R&R is located and does most of its business in Northern Virginia, the Company has provided design services in other states, using the Internet to send/receive digital photos, dimensions, and designs.  R&R’s designs can be exported in a variety of formats, which allows design reviews over the Internet.  All remodeling and new home plans are developed in accordance with the IRC (International Residential Code) 2006.
